Halkbank and Banka Poštanska štedionica introduce new IPS payment possibilities for their client.

Halkbank a.d. Beograd has enabled IPS services within the SmartHALK
Pro application for mobile banking for its legal person clients. Within
this application, IPS payment services are enabled at points of sale
using the IPS show and IPS scan methods, as well as the payment of
bills/invoices by scanning the NBS IPS QR code. This makes Halkbank a.d.
Beograd the fifth bank in Serbia that provides legal persons with the
mentioned IPS services through the m-banking application. The mentioned
services are also offered by Banca Intesa, UniCredit, Eurobank-Direktna
and Raiffeisen banka.

In addition to Halkbank a.d. Beograd, another participant of the NBS
IPS system worked on improving the services offered to its clients
within the m-banking application. In its new application for natural
persons, Banka Poštanska štedionica a.d. Beograd has enabled the use of
deep link technology for executing IPS scan online payments. The users
of the new m-banking application of Banka Poštanska štedionica a.d.
Beograd can now make payments without leaving sensitive data about the
payment instrument on the internet, even if they wish to execute the
entire process of online shopping on their mobile phones. Namely, with a
few clicks on the online point of sale accessed via phone, the buyer
may launch the m-banking application and in it confirm the execution of
the desired payment.

The purchase process on a mobile phone begins with the buyer
selecting the IPS scan option on the merchant’s website. After that, he
is given the option to select the bank with whose application he wants
to make the payment. By selecting a bank and clicking on the “pay”
button, the buyer launches the desired m-banking application in which he
will immediately have the option to authorise the execution of the
payment. By entering the PIN, the transaction will be initiated and
executed within a few seconds. This is one of the most state-of-the-art
and simplest ways of online paying in Serbia which increases the payment
security for buyers, as it enables online purchase without leaving
sensitive data on the payment instrument. In addition, payments are
authorised and implemented in a safe environment of the m-banking
application, i.e. the customer’s bank.

Users of the new m-banking application of Banka Poštanska štedionica
a.d. Beograd can now execute payments at online points of sale in our
country in a safe, fast and simple way. In addition to the mentioned
