ALTA BANKA a.d. Beograd enables deep link technology for IPS payments

All clients of Alta banka a.d. Beograd with installed and activated
mobile banking apps can now use one of the most state-of-the-art and
simplest methods of internet payments in Serbia – deep link technology
within the IPS scan method.

Тhis means that on the websites enabling payment by the IPS scan
method, the clients of Alta banka too can now select their bank from the
dropdown menu, whereafter the client’s mobile banking app will open and
the client will confirm the execution of payment.

Such process and method of payment increases the security of buyers,
as it enables online purchase without leaving sensitive data on the
payment instrument. Payments are confirmed and implemented in a safe
environment of the m-banking app, with multiple security mechanisms in
place, applied by the NBS IPS system and its participants.

IPS scan is a payment method unique in the market, bringing multiple
benefits to merchants as well – funds are transferred to the merchant’s
account within a few seconds, there is no need to manage or keep
sensitive data on the buyer’s payment instruments, the solution is
implemented in a simple way, the payment process is simple and fast for
buyers, fees are lower thanks to the NBS pricing policy, etc.

In addition to Alta banka a.d. Beograd, deep link technology for
online IPS payments has been introduced by 13 more banks in Serbia:
Banca Intesa, Eurobank-Direktna, Erste bank, Unicredit bank Srbija, OTP
banka Srbija, NLB Komercijalna banka, Raiffeisen banka, AIK banka,
Halkbank, Addiko bank, RBA bank, Banka Poštanska Štedionica and Mobi
banka.
