OMV company enables instant payments at OMV petrol stations

The OMV Srbija d.o.o. company has introduced instant payments at all
OMV petrol stations in Serbia. All m-banking users can now pay for fuel,
goods and services by using the “IPS Show” method on their mobile
phones. One only needs to activate the “IPS Show” option on the
m-banking application, which will generate the IPS QR code, for the
merchant to scan with a 2D barcode scanner.

OMV enabled the acceptance of instant payments through Banca Intesa
a.d. Beograd. In addition to this bank, other payment service providers
also offer the instant payment service. All merchants can contact banks
and provide their customers with this type of cashless payments in a
very simple way.

The NBS actively promotes the development of cashless payments by
providing the market infrastructure and preconditions for the creation
and implementation of new payment models. We invite all interested legal
persons and entrepreneurs to consider instant payments and thus use
their numerous advantages.
