API Bank a.d. Beograd enables deep link technology within its application

API Bank a.d. Beograd has enabled its clients to use deep link technology for making IPS payments online. Through the bank’s mobile banking application, customers can execute IPS payments at online points-of-sale in just a few steps. When paying through API bank’s mobile banking application, a customer should select “IPS Scan” at an online POS he has accessed via his mobile phone and then choose “API Bank” from the list of banks. The customer will be automatically redirected to his application, where he can authenticate and afterwards authorise the payment.

By supporting this payment process, API Bank has enhanced the online shopping experience for its customers thereby enabling a simpler and faster payment method, which is also offered by 14 other banks in Serbia. Customers do not need to manually enter sensitive payment instrument details on the merchant’s website. Instead, authentication and transaction execution take place within the mobile banking application, in a secure environment specifically designed for conducting payment transactions.

Paying via deep link is a highly convenient solution for online shopping anytime and anywhere, as the entire process of purchasing and paying for selected products or services can be completed in just a few clicks using a single device – the mobile phone through which the customer accesses the online store.
